About

Let’s work together for a sustainable agricultural future.

Harnois is a family business, established in 1965

Founded in 1965 as Irrigation St. Thomas, the parent company of Harnois Greenhouses, Industries Harnois, initially specialized in irrigation systems and agricultural equipment. In 1968, we expanded into greenhouse manufacturing, and in 1971, under the leadership of Rolland Harnois and Yves Harnois, we designed Quebec’s first gutter-connected greenhouse complex. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, we dominated the Canadian market by introducing innovative greenhouse technologies, from heating circulation tubes to naturally ventilated greenhouse structures.

As our reputation grew, we became, in 1982, the first North American company to use oval tubes in greenhouse manufacturing.

Today, Harnois Greenhouses continues to create turnkey greenhouse projects and enhance agricultural productivity. We acknowledge that the future of sustainable agriculture depends on creative solutions, and we remain firmly committed to continuously bringing new ideas to the industry.
